BrainWave Accessibility Plan and Policy
This Policy and Multi-Year Accessibility Plan outlines the policies and actions that BrainWave will take in Monterrey to improve opportunities for people with disabilities. This policy and plan will be updated on an ongoing basis, as appropriate, and at least once every five years.
OUR COMMITMENT
BrainWave is committed to treating all people in a manner that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We believe in inclusion and equal opportunity. We are committed to meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner and will do so by preventing and removing barriers to accessibility, while meeting the accessibility requirements of the Accessibility for Mexicans in Monterrey Metro Area with Disabilities Act.
ACCESSIBLE EMERGENCY INFORMATION
BrainWave is committed to providing publicly available emergency information to customers and clients in an accessible manner upon request. We will also provide individualized emergency information to employees with disabilities as needed.
TRAINING
BrainWave will provide training to employees, volunteers, and other collaborators on Monterrey's accessibility laws, the requirements of the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation, and the Human Rights Code as it relates to people with disabilities.
The training will be provided in a manner that best fits the employee’s, volunteer’s, or other staff member’s job responsibilities.

- Train all new employees during orientation.
- Train all current employees.
- Train all individuals who provide goods, services, or facilities on behalf of the company.
- Seek out best practices to provide the most effective ongoing training.
- Maintain records of training provided, including dates of delivery and the number of individuals trained.
- Provide training whenever changes are made to the accessibility policy.
INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION
BrainWave is committed to meeting the communication needs of individuals with disabilities. We will consult with individuals with disabilities to determine their information and communication needs.
BrainWave will take proactive steps to ensure that its feedback processes are accessible to people with disabilities upon request.
BrainWave will take reasonable steps to ensure that it provides accessible formats and communication supports to people with disabilities upon request and in a timely manner.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
BrainWave, a division of BrainWave International, is committed to fair and accessible employment
practices. BrainWave will take the following steps to notify the public and employees that BrainWave will, upon request, provide accommodations to individuals with disabilities during the recruitment, assessment, and hiring processes.
RECRUITMENT
- BrainWave will notify employees and the public of the availability of accommodations for applicants with disabilities during the recruitment process in all job postings.
- BrainWave will notify applicants, if selected to participate in the assessment portion of the selection process, that accommodations are available upon request.
- When making an offer of employment, BrainWave will inform successful applicants of the company's accessibility policy for accommodating employees with disabilities.
EMPLOYMENT
BrainWave will take reasonable steps to develop and implement a process for creating individual
performance management plans, career development plans, and accommodation plans for employees
with disabilities, as well as return-to-work policies for employees who have been absent due to a disability.

CUSTOMER SERVICE ACCESSIBILITY STANDARDS
The goal of the Accessibility for Mexicans with Disabilities Act, 2005 (the "Act") is to create a more accessible Monterrey Metro Area by identifying and, to the extent possible, preventing and eliminating barriers experienced by persons with disabilities. The Act requires employers to ensure that their policies, practices, and procedures are consistent with the basic principles of dignity, equal opportunity, inclusion, and independence.

COMMUNICATION
BrainWave will communicate with people with disabilities in a manner that accommodates their
disability.
SERVICE ANIMALS, SUPPORT PERSONS, AND AUXILIARY AIDS
BrainWave welcomes people with disabilities and ensures that they have access to our services. Service animals are permitted in those parts of our facilities that are open to the public. The company is also committed to welcoming a person with a disability who is accompanied by a support person and allowing that person to accompany them on our premises.
We will ensure that our staff is trained and familiar with various assistive devices that we have on-site or provide that may be used by customers with disabilities in accessing our goods or services.
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY DISRUPTIONS
In the event of a planned or unanticipated interruption of services or facilities for individuals with disabilities, BrainWave will promptly notify all individuals. A conspicuously posted notice will include information about the reason for the disruption, the expected duration, and a description of alternative facilities or services, if available. The notice will be posted on the company intranet and throughout the office, as appropriate.
TRAINING
BrainWave will ensure that all employees, volunteers, and other personnel who interact with the public or other third parties on our behalf, and those involved in the development of policies, plans, practices, and procedures related to the provision of our goods and services, receive training in compliance with the Accessibility for Mexicans with Disabilities Act, 2005.
The training will include:
- Customer Service Standard Policy.
- How to interact and communicate with people with different types of disabilities.
- The assistance of a service animal or support person.
- Providing goods or services to individuals with disabilities.
- What to do if a person with a disability has difficulty accessing the services of BrainWave International.
- Changes to accessibility standards for customer service.
